The Accidental Inventor Who Saved Millions
Sometimes the right person for a job is not the one with the most degrees or experience. In 1905, a young newspaper reporter named Garrett Morgan witnessed a terrible car accident at a busy intersection. He had no engineering training. But he had curiosity and a desire to help. He invented the three-position traffic light — one of the most life-saving devices in history. His story proves that great ideas can come from unexpected people.
